Fundraising & Donations

Sponsorship

Can you Help Us?

SupportLine urgently needs donations to keep the service running. Fundraising Volunteers urgently needed, see Fundraising Section for details.

We have to constantly apply for grants and donations and it is very difficult for smaller organisations to survive. Limited funding means we cannot be open for as many hours as we like and additional funding will enable us to increase our opening hours and to develop and expand our work by enabling us in the future to train additional helpline support workers, thereby enabling us to support more callers in need. We would love to be able to answer every call coming in to us, sadly lack of funding prevents us from doing that, we would love to be open more hours, we would love to have more helpline support workers - but we need help!

Throughout the year we also organise our own fundraising events with the support of our Patron, Glen Murphy.

Can you help us by...

Making a donation

Any amount however small will be an enormous help to us - you can make a donation by cheque or credit card - please click on Donate link.

Fundraising for SupportLine

If you are an individual or a member of a club or society, we would welcome any fundraising help you can give. (all fundraisers will be sent a Fundraising Certificate personally signed by our Patron, Glen Murphy).

Running the London Marathon

Do you have a place? Can you run for SupportLine? We can supply running vest and sponsorship forms.

There are many other races like the Great North Run and a host of other running events throughout the year.

Other Ideas

Sponsored walk, sponsored silence, sponsored bike ride, jumble sale, boot sale, coffee morning, parachute jump, etc.

Sponsorship of our work and events

We are always looking for companies to sponsor areas of our work such as Annual Report, Publicity Material which is distributed throughout the UK, Fundraising events e.g. Celebrity Football Match & Fun Day, match programme, printing publicity material, sponsorship of match ball. Major sponsors are invited to the aftermatch reception with the celebrities and have their details included on all publicity.

Additional sponsorship of events would enable us to hold more fundraising events throughout the year thereby raising much needed funds

Donations in kind - We are always in need of merchandise to use as prizes on our Children's and Adults Tombolas such as toys, bottles, etc. at our fundraising events and also raffle prizes. We also need items which we can auction to raise funds for the charity.

Making a grant - If you are a Trustee of a Grant Making Trust and can consider making a grant to SupportLine please contact us.

Your support will enable us to continue supporting callers. we believe our work does make a real difference as can be seen by reading the 'feedback from callers' section.

If you can give any help and need further information please contact geri at supportline on 01708 765222 or email info@supportline.org.uk.
