Welcome to SupportLine

We offer confidential emotional support to children, young adults and adults by telephone, email and post. We work with callers to develop healthy, positive coping strategies, an inner feeling of strength and increased self esteem to encourage healing, recovery and moving forward with life.

We also keep details of counsellors, agencies and support groups throughout the UK.

Much of SupportLine's work involves supporting adult survivors of childhood sexual, emotional and physical abuse and in light of the media focus on the Jimmy Savile and others cases of abuse, and the impending Child Sexual Abuse Inquiry an increasing number of survivors are turning to SupportLine for help and support.

One Small Word – Surviving Childhood Abuse by Gloria F Eveleigh

Gloria released her novel which is based on her experiences of childhood sexual abuse in the hope it would help others. Gloria was invited to submit her novel to the Truth Project, part of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse. SupportLine was delighted to have been asked to write the foreword to this book, a copy of which can be bought on Amazon.
